The two interior designers - Tony Chi of the New York-based Tonychi and Associates, and Shinichiro Ogata of Simplicity Co., Ltd. in Tokyo's Meguro Ward - have drawn on Japan's diverse aesthetic arts to create spaces that reflect the Japanese penchant for authenticity of material and texture.
