The Hoxton, Portland, the second hotel on North American soil. Situated in a building that dates back to 1906, The Hoxton, Portland is located in the citys Old Town Chinatown, and offers 119 rooms; a large, open lobby; three food and drink spaces ran in partnership with local restaurant group, Submarine Hospitality and a basement cocktail bar. The 119 bedrooms have been designed by Ennismore Design Studio, inspired by the North-West modernism movement, and will come in four sizes (Shoebox, Snug, Cosy and Roomy) and feature rich timber paneling, pink marbles, and brass feature lighting.The communal spaces feature the buildings original timber columns, exposed brick walls, and reclaimed timber floors throughout. Lovely Rita is an easy going, all day bistro serving breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner for reservations and walk-ins, as well as a counter service caf for grab and go items. Meanwhile, the rooftop restaurant/bar Tope is a taqueria inspired by the street food of Mexico City with a mezcal-focused cocktail. Tucked into the basement is a cocktail bar with its own entrance, serving up an evolving list of specialty cocktails and a playful menu of seasonal offerings of the Lovely Rita menu.
