How is Room Key different?
Room Key was born out of a question posed among a group of hospitality experts: “How can we make it easier for our customers to find the right hotel?” We believe that finding a hotel is a different experience than choosing a flight or renting a car, and that requires a different kind of search experience. At Roomkey.com, you can find and share accurate information, straight from the source – from searching through to booking directly with the hotel. How do I find my reservation?
Room Key lets you book directly with the hotel itself. We do not store any of your reservation information. If you have a question regarding your reservation, you simply contact the hotel with which you booked, directly, either by logging in to its website, or calling the customer service number listed on its website.

How can I change or cancel my hotel reservation?
Room Key lets you book directly with the hotel itself – removing the challenges and uncertainties of booking through a third party or travel agent. So when you need to cancel or change your reservation in any way, you simply contact the hotel with which you booked, directly. Your hotel of choice will handle all of your needs.

How do I search for a hotel?
Room Key aims to make the hotel search experience as easy and enjoyable as the moment you walk into your room and relax! So the search process is just as simple. You just enter a city, address, zip code or airport code, the check in and out dates, number of rooms and guests – and we do the rest of the work. You’ll see a number of hotel options presented for you to review. And when you find the one that best meets your needs, simply click ‘Book,’ and you’ll be taken directly to the hotel’s website to book your room directly.

What does “estimated total” mean?
When you stay at a hotel, in addition to the nightly room rate, there are often additional charges, including things like local taxes and hotel fees – and it all varies by city and hotel location. Room Key calculates an estimated total daily cost of the room, inclusive of these taxes and fees. With the “estimated total,” we do the budgeting math for you.
